So the end of the summer has been very busy. Mid August my very dear friend Jen moved to West Va. She and her kids have been like family to me, and Mason just LOVES her kids. So we tried to spend as much time with them as possible before they left. Then we were busy planning a surprise party for Papa. Before we headed home for the party, Mason got sick and we went to the ped. to find out he had another ear infection. So we set up an appointment with an ENT Dr and got some antibiotics. We headed to Lynchburg to have the party and even went out on a boat on saturday. We had a great time and got to spend some time with a lot of family and friends we have not seen in a while. We met with the ENT the next week, and Mason will be getting ear tubes on the 20th. Please say a prayer for him that everything goes smooth and these help! We then spent Labor Day weekend at Smith Mountain Lake. Grandma rented a house for the weekend, and it was GREAT. Mason and Olivia had a great time playing in the water and fishing. I know we are ready for some cooler weather so Mason can get out and play without getting too hot!
